Canisters

Any vacuum cleaners with a long hose that you pull around or carry are called canisters.

People that have a combination of hard floors and carpet find it more convenient to use a canister. They are more useable and do bare floors better.

It is important to select a canister that filters the dust, mites and allergens well and not redistribute them in the air you breath.
