Shipping & Delivery

Availability: We ship out most items from our warehouse in Virginia Beach, Virginia. If you see the Availability for a product listed as 'Usually leaves the warehouse on the next business day,' the product will ship from our warehouse. If you see 'This item ships directly from the manufacturer or distributor,' the product will be shipped from a different warehouse. Products from other vendors usually take an extra couple of days for processing before it is shipped.

Carriers: For most orders you may select UPS or USPS as your preferred carrier during the checkout process. For orders that qualify for Free shipping we ship almost all of our packages via UPS. Sometimes, we do ship packages Fedex or USPS. We do not take requests for the shipping carrier on orders that qualify for Free shipping. Please make sure that you give us an accurate street address that can be delivered to. Delivery quotes are for business days only. Shippers do not ship on Saturday or Sunday and do not count those days in quotes. The ship date is not counted in air quotes. For example, if it ships 2nd Day Air on Monday, it should arrive on Wednesday.

Tracking Information: Many of our shipping vendors provide us with a tracking number for your package. If we get that information we provide it to you right away. However, if we do not get tracking information from a vendor, we will not be able to give you an exact delivery date.

International Orders: At this time we are only shipping to the USA. 

Free Shipping: We ship many of our items with Free ground shipping. Free ground shipping is included in the Continental 48 States on most orders over $100. All other orders will be charged the actual shipping charges from our warehouse to your door. Shipping days are business days. This excludes weekends and holidays. International orders and orders to Alaska and Hawaii do not quality for Free shipping.

In-Store Pickup: If you are in the Hampton Roads area and are willing to pick up your order at one of our retail locations, you may select "Free In Store Pickup" from one of our locations as your shipping option. The store you choose will contact you directly as soon as your order is available and you will receive an email confirming an estimated arrival time for pickup. This is usually within 2-5 business days of you placing your order. 

Ship-To Addresses: Please note that UPS cannot ship to PO Boxes. If you wish to have your order shipped to a PO Box please select USPS shipping. Otherwise please enter a physical street address for UPS shipping. Please enter a physical street address if your order qualifies for Free ground shipping.

Privacy & Security

Privacy Policy: TidewaterSewVac.com believes in protecting our customers' privacy. Therefore we do not lend, sell or rent mailing lists of our customers, so you never have to worry that your name, address, phone number and credit card information would ever be used outside of our business.

Security Policy: Secure shopping protects you while you shop here, so that you never have to worry about credit card safety. Our Secure Sockets Layer Encryption software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure online commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

Changes to our Privacy Policy: Internet dynamics continually change and it is possible that the Privacy Policy could undergo slight changes, although any such changes would most likely be minimal. However, if any substantial changes are made to the policy, we will make every effort to notify customers through prominent notices on the site.

Returns & Replacements

Returns: We will gladly exchange any product* for another product in stock of equal value, or extend a shopping credit, within 30 days of purchase, provided the product is returned in the same condition as purchased.  Sorry - no refunds.  Please contact customer service 1-757-479-3950 for exchanges.

*Books, Cut Fabrics, Design CD's, Patterns & Software are excluded from returns.

Damaged Product: If you received your order and it is damaged, e-mail us immediately at info@TidewaterSewVac.com

Payments

Payment Options: TidewaterSewVac.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Debit Card (with credit card logo), Synchrony, PayPal, Check and Money Order. You may simply add products to your cart by selecting the ‘'Add to Cart’ option. By selecting "My Cart" at the upper right of any TidewaterSewVac.com's page, you will be taken to your virtual shopping cart so that you may view and edit items in your cart, view taxes and estimated shipping charges. Select "Proceed to Checkout" and you will be sent to an SSL secured page so you may enter your payment information.

Credit Card Payments:  For customers using credit cards, for your safety and security, TidewaterSewVc.com requires that you include your Name (as it appears on your card), account number, expiration date, and Card Verification Number (CVN). The CVN is a 3-digit number printed on the back of your (Discover, Visa, MC) card. It appears after and to the right of your card number. The American Express verification number is a 4-digit number printed on the front of your card. It appears after and to the right of your card number.

PayPal Payments:  If you would like to pay with PayPal, all forms including eCheck, balance and Credit Cards are accepted by TidewaterSewVac.com. PayPal is a fast and easy way to pay with either your checking account or credit card. If you do not already have a PayPal account, please sign up here.

Check / Money Order Payments:  If you would like to pay via check or money order, please go through the checkout process selecting the proper payment method and print out your order page. We will hold your order pending receipt of your payment for up to 5 days. Send your payment along with a copy of your order to the address included in your invoice. Please note, no order will be shipped until your payment has cleared (up to 10 days). There is a $25.00 fee on all dishonored checks.

Viewing Orders & Updating Account Information

You can view the status of your order by selecting My Account on the top of any page. Then you will be asked to log in. You can view your orders and update your account information once you have logged in.
