Lay edge of binding on edge of quilt, right sides together. Start sewing a 1'4" seam 1'2" from the beginning of the strip. Sew to within 3" of corner. Place tool on corner making sure your edges are all even. Using the appropriate color pencil, draw a line in the slit. Take tool away and put a pin at the end of line. Sew to the pin, remove pin and sew on line. Fold binding up at a 45 degree angle, along the diagonal line you've sewn. refold at raw edge of previously sewn side. Rotate quilt to next edge. Sew to within 3" of corner. Repeat for all corners. When you get back to the beginning, fold over the 1/2" at the beginning. Overlap the end about 3/4" and sew.
